Sunday 17 November 2024
10:30 to 14:30
The Landguard Peninsula is located at the southerly most point of the town of Felixstowe. Surrounding the Fort and Museum is the vegetated shingle habitat of the Landguard Nature Reserve, with its rare plants, migrating birds and military history.
The View Point Café, which is situated at the John Bradfield Viewing Area, offers videos and exhibits on the attractions of the Peninsula, public toilets and a 60 seater cafe - with both indoor and outdoor seating offering stunning views of the estuary. Enjoy the spectacular views over Harwich Harbour and the Port of Felixstowe - Britain's busiest container port.
