MNTV Workday - Dunham Massey

Sunday 24 April 2022
09:30 to 15:30

It's been 2 weeks since we were last out and Easter has been and gone and with it all that chocolate, time to work it off?

Dunham Massey was home to the Earls of Warrington and then the Earls of Stamford and the deer park covers an area of 192.7 acres and features formal avenues, woodland and parkland. The parkland is occupied by a herd of fallow deer that have been resident in the park for hundreds of years. The woodland area has a magnificent collection of ancient trees. Many of the giant oak trees dating back as far as the 17th century, a true rarity in Britain today. As such, it is considered a site of national importance.  Area Ranger Natalie has asked for our help as she has many tasks for us to take part in this could involve pond work, footpath maintenance, tree planting, woodland work and fence repairs.

Meet Daniel in the Main Carpark at 9.30
