Manchester National Trust Volunteers

Today we should have been heading towards Yorkshire to for our only workday of the year at Marsden Moor, but due to staff leaving and new staff only just joining we are having to change locations and we will be going to Hardcastle Crags instead.

Hardcastle Crags near Hebden Bridge is a wooded Pennine valley, home to Gibson Mill. Our previous visits we have attempted felling of trees, shifting stones and Balsam Bashing. What Ranger James has in store for us is not currently known but it's bound to be hard work and hopefully fun to.

This should be a car share day but with us not knowing what the restrictions will be like at that time, plan to meet at Hardcastle Crags at 10am
