Eating for Better Health (EBH) aims to promote healthier nutritional awareness for health professionals and the public using interactive talks, and hands-on cooking workshops. Run by Carers, we offer information/advice to anyone voluntarily supporting someone with mental health difficulties. ‘Carers’ includes Family and Friends. Each month, we hold a Peer Support Group and Drop-in sessions at the local psychiatric hospital. Recognised as the ‘voice’ of local Mental Health Carers, we represent their view on strategic and scrutiny panels with Service Providers and Commissioners.

MEFAS provides training in first aid and emergency aid (CERT) to the public. MEFAS also offers first aid cover at events ranging from school fetes, local fund raising activities, children's football leagues and assistance to trading charities and commercial operations. MEFAS provides these services, in the main, to South London Boroughs and North Surrey.
