The club meets on Monday nights at 7:30 from September to the end of May in the Small Hall at the Hazlemere Community Centre.
We run teams in the Bucks League. Club members can also enter the Bucks Individual competition. We run a graded Club Championship.
Club members who wish to use the bar facilities at the Hazlemere Community Centre need to become members of the Hazlemere Community Association. Parking is free when using the Hazlemere Community Centre car park, but you must log your registration number in the portal on the wall in the lobby area.
The club welcomes juniors, giving access to junior and adult competitions from club through to county and national level. Our junior activities apply to those children of secondary school age or the senior year at primary. Discretionary permission may be extended to mature and experienced juniors below that age, but we are unable to teach beginners. We would advise parents to consider on-line resources as an aid to teaching beginners and would refer them in the first instance to the Chess for Heroes website.

For those new to chess there is plenty of information on the ECF website. Also for those moving from playing online to over-the-board chess here is an article by Andrew Medworth of Hendon Chess Club.
