Last year there was an event at the playing fields as part of the "The Great Get Together" theme. This year we decided to make it a more ambitious event. Admission is free and it features live music.There are charges for the other activities and we hope our share of their profits will help us cover costs. We did apply to Cala Homes who are the developer building next door to us for a modest contribution to our costs but they were not forthcoming. This is unfortunate as it does seem to be a one way street with them as we are still being asked to allow access from the area they are developing into the playing fields but we get nothing.
