PRIZE DISTRIBUTION AND SPEECH COMPETITION FOR HINDI COMPETITION 2013, SOUTH EAST ENGLAND
UK Hindi Samiti organised their 12th Hindi Competition for Hindi students in UK under the auspices of High Commission of India London.
The speech competition and prize distribution function for the students from London, Surrey, Slough and Reading was held on 5th May 2103 at the Brahmrishi Mission hall, London. Between London and S.E. England, more than 250 students participated in the written competition from around 10 Hindi teaching Centres.
Mr. Binod Kumar, attaché Hindi and culture, High Commission of India London expressed his gratitude on this occasion by some valuable suggestions and assured everyone for the continuous support from the High Commission of India.
Senior scholar and writer Dr. Satyendra Srivastava who is also a sponsor of Sri Savitri Srivastava cash prize for Speech Competition winners was overwhelmed by the performances of young children and appreciated the importance & roles of mothers bringing up their children with their language and culture.
Senior journalist and writer Mr. Lalit Mohan Joshi speaking on behalf of the panel of judges said that most of the children were perfect in their pronunciation, subject matter and presentation.
Earlier the guests were welcomed by the head of Brahmrishi mission Vishwa Bharti Didi. Didi informed everyone about the role and history of Brahmrishi mission in the promotion of Hindi globally.
The president of UK Hindi Samiti Dr. Padmesh Gupta sharing his experiences of organising the event for last 12 years explained the concept and vision of Hindi competition. Dr. Gupta told that how this project is creating a huge network of Hindi students in Europe. This event is organised in 6 countries of Europe and selected students are then sent to India on an educational tour.
Mrs. Surekha Chophla, coordinator for Hindi competition in London thanked all the team who have been working behind the scene.
The speech competition was compered by 2 Hindi students Pavneet and Ritu who have been winners of Hindi competition in past years.
For the age group of 13 years and above category, 1st prize went to Siddharth Sood and 2nd to Jemille Gibson.
The selected winners over the age of 14 years from written and speech competition will be sponsored for an educational tour to India in August 2013. The sponsors for their air fare are Ministry of external affairs, Government of India and the High Commission of India, London.
For the age group of under 12 years category the 1st prize went to Sarika Nehra, 2nd and 3rd winners were Vaidehi Sharma and Khushi Sharma.
Mr. Binod Kumar from HCI, London, Mr. Sudershan Bhatia, Mr. Shyam Manohar Pandey and Dr. Satyendra Srivastava presented the certificates to all the winners of written and speech competition.
The panel of judges included Mr. Lalit Mohan Joshi, Shikha Varshney, Indira Anand, Brij Goel and Usha Raje.
Along with the management of UK Hindi Samiti and Brahmrishi Mission, the team of organisers for this event were Mr. Ved Mitra Mohla, Surekha Chophla, Shashi Walia, Seema Vedi, Asha Walia and others.
The Hindi Competition is organised by the support of Ministry of External affairs India, High Commission of India London, ICCR India, Aksharam India and individual friends of Hindi Dr. Satyendra Srivastava, Mr. Mahipal & Mrs Jai Verma and Mr Brij & Mrs Usha Goel.
लन्दन में यू. के. हिंदी समिति द्वारा १२वी हिंदी ज्ञान प्रतियोगिता संपन्न
दिनांक ५ मई २०१३ को लन्दन में यू. के. हिंदी समिति द्वारा १२वी हिंदी ज्ञान प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन भारतीय उच्चायोग लन्दन के तत्वावधान में ब्रह्म ऋषि मिशन के आश्रम में संपन्न हुआ.
कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि भारतीय उच्चायोग के हिंदी एवं संस्कृति अधिकारी श्री बिनोद कुमार जी ने इस अवसर पर कुछ बहुमूल्य सुझावों के साथ भारतीय उच्चायोग के भविष्य में भी सहयोग जारी रखने का आश्वासन दिया.
ब्रिटेन के वरिष्ठ लेखक डॉ सत्येन्द्र श्रीवास्तव ने बच्चो की अच्छी परवरिश में माताओं के योगदान और महत्त्व की चर्चा की। डॉ श्रीवास्तव अपनी माता श्री सावित्री श्रीवास्तव के नाम पर १२ वर्षो से कैश पुरस्कार देते आ रहे है.
लन्दन के वरिष्ठ पत्रकार श्री ललित मोहन जोशी ने प्रतियोगिता के निर्णायक मंडल की ओर से बोलते हुए कहा कि भाग लेने वाले अधिकाँश बच्चों के उच्चारण अत्यंत प्रभावशाली थे।
कार्यक्रम के आरम्भ में ब्रह्म ऋषि मिशन की कर्ताधर्ता विश्व भारती दीदी ने मिशन के इतिहास एवं हिंदी के प्रचार प्रसार में अपनी संस्था की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला।
यू. के. हिंदी समिति के अध्यक्ष डॉ पद्मेश गुप्त ने हिंदी ज्ञान प्रतियोगिता के इतिहास और रूपरेखा को बताते हुए इस प्रतियोगिता के योरोप में बढ़ते हुए प्रभाव की जानकारी दी। इस के माध्यम से योरोप के हिंदी विद्यार्थियों को भारत जाने का अवसर मिलता है और विश्व में हिंदी के युवाओं का बहुत बड़ा नेटवर्क तैयार हो रहा है.
लन्दन में हिंदी ज्ञान प्रतियोगिता की संयोजिका सुरेखा चोफ्ला ने सभी शिक्षको और हिंदी केन्द्रों को धन्यवाद अर्पित किया जो पूरी निष्ठा के साथहिंदी ज्ञान प्रतियोगिता में भाग ले रही है।
यू. के. हिंदी समिति एवं ब्रह्म ऋषि आश्रम के हिंदी ज्ञान प्रतियोगिता के आयोजकगण है वेद मित्र मोहला, सुरेखा चोफ्ला, शशि वालिया, सीमा वेदी,आशा वालिया तथा अन्य।
भाषण प्रतियोगिता का संचालन पूर्व में प्रतियोगिता के विजेता रही हिंदी छात्रा परनीत और ऋतू ने अत्यंत कुशलतापूर्वक किया।
इस वर्ष भाषण प्रतियोगिता में १३ वर्ष की आयु से ऊपर के प्रथम विजेता रहे सिद्धार्थ सूद और द्वितीय रहे जमील गिब्सन।
१२ वर्ष की कम आयु के प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय स्थान पर रही सारिका नेहा, वैदेही शर्मा तथा ख़ुशी शर्मा।
भारतीय उच्चायोग लन्दन एवं विदेश मंत्रालय भारत सरकार के सौजन्य से ब्रिटेन के विजता छात्रो को भारत यात्रा पर जाने का व्यय दिया जाता है।
इस अवसर पर भारतीय उच्चायोग के श्री बिनोद कुमार, डॉ श्याम मनोहर पण्डे, डॉ सत्येन्द्र श्रीवास्तव एवं श्री सुदर्शन भाटिया ने प्रतियोगिता के विजातो को पुरस्कार दिया।
निर्णायक मंडल के सदस्य थे ललित मोहन जोशी, ब्रिज गोएल, शिखा वार्ष्णेय, उषा राजे एवं इंदिरा आनन्द।
