Wednesdays 10.30am - 12 noon
Coffee Mornings in St Giles' Church. Everyone is invited for coffee in the Deane Chapel (or outside in the Churchyard, if the weather is good). There is no charge - this is a social get-together, not a fundraiser. Also, we now serve coffee after all our regular services, so please join us if you can.

Yoga Classes in the Village Hall, suitable for all ages and abilities. Cost is £6.50 per class - more details here. |

Boules – on the Playing Field Boules Court. An alfresco afternoon with a French flavour. Starts: 3.00pm/Ice Cream Van at around 3.30pm. Bring your own drinks/picnic/chairs. Poster here. |

D-Day 80th Anniversary Commemoration and Beacon Lighting. Village participation in this national event will include bell-ringing, a fish & chip supper (which must be pre-ordered by 12th May) and the beacon lighting. More details here. |

Inter- Village Boules Challenge: Great Maplestead vs Gestingthorpe - on the Playing Field Boules Court. A team competition for the Best Village title. Starts 2.00pm : Entry £2.00/player. A trophy and prizes to be won. Please come along and lend your support - the honour of your village is at stake! Bring your own drinks, snacks and chairs. More information can be found here. |

Navigational Scatter Event - from the Village Hall. Enjoy a quiet drive in the country, answer a few questions and possibly win a prize! Entry 12 cars; maximum of 4 participants/car – entry £8/person. Breakfast/briefing at 9.15am; start 10.00am; lunch & prize-giving 1.00pm.
