David was born in Eccleshill in 1806 to John Waterhouse, a farmer of Eccleshill. David married Charlotte nee Saunders in October 1841. They had one son, John Frederick, born in 1846.
David was a farmer like his father John and John Frederick followed in their footsteps.
David passed away on the 15th April 1870 aged 64, his wife Charlotte passed away 23rd June 1877 aged 71.
