New Publication - William Pentney - My Life as an Adopted Child
This new museum publication is based on the memories of Wiliam (Bill) Pentney, who came to Kelvedon as a young wartime child and was adopted into that family. Going on to work for the family haulage company and then in later life trying to find any natural siblings. A moving story of life 'back in the day' and how he quickly grew to love the village.

Childrens Art Competition - Help Design a Logo
The museum needs a new logo and we are running a childrens art competition to enlist their help with its design.

New Exhibitions - Felix Hall & Art & Design in our two villages
These days Felix Hall is a family home but over the centuries it has had some significant owners, many of whom had a love of art and design. This exhibition highlights those owners including Lord Western and Milner Gray and related art and design. It also covers a current design company in Kelvedon, W3 Designs.
John Constable, artist perhaps best known for painting The Hay Wain at Flatford Mill, had strong links to Feering, having been christened by the then vicar of Feering Rev Driffield. In this the 250th anniversay of his birth we also cover his local sketches and paintings.
