Elie Kirk Community Enterprise is currently fundraising to try and secure for the furture of the church building for the community. You can find some of the intial ideas and visual mockups for the building at the following link: https://e-voice.org.uk/ekcel/vision/
However, before we can do this, we need to determine if taking on the church building will be financially viable. This is an
important step to make sure the long term future of the church building for the community is secured. To do this we need to raise £20,000.
We need your help to reach our goal to allow us to move forward with the
feasibility work. If you would like to help us raise some funds for the necessary
feasibility work detailed above then we would love to receive your donation
through our Crowdfunding page!
What would the money be used for?
Money raised would be used to obtain professional advice and support as follows:
● Completion of a building condition survey to identify any repairs, both imminent and
longer term, that will be required.
● Community business planning and feasibility to look at the different options for use of
the church building and the financial viability of any future uses
● Architect support to determine what alterations would be required to the building to
make the space both useable and compliant with current regulations and to improve
energy efficiency of the building
The committee are continuing to work hard behind the scenes to keep the project moving
forward. If you would like to be involved or have any skills or experience that you would like to
share with us we would love to hear from you.
We are planning to apply Crowdfund Fife for matched funding up to £2000 if we
can raise at least £4000 through our Crowdfunding campaign. We have made good progress so far with pledges made through different channels and there is still a little time to go before the Crowdfunding initiative closes, so if you would like to help us raise some funds for the feasibility stage please donate via our Crowdfunding page using the link below.
