You may have seen these pictures from 1971 in our recent village history exhibition. They show the erection of the current village hall by members of the village. Can you recognise anyone?
If the hall is no longer here in three years what difference will it make? Everything that goes on there can go on somewhere else. Times change. We have to adapt.
Come to the AGM in early June and hear the Village Hall Committee’s annual report which will include our view of the Village Hall’s future. If you want to join the Committee (our members are Charity Trustees) and contribute to what happens next do contact Sheila, the secretary, by mid-May, who will explain the nomination process.
Let’s make good use of our village hall whilst we have it. For community and for private hire.
