Essex Community First Aid Events Volunteers was registed as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) with the Charity Commission for England and Wales on 13th November 2018, charity number 1180674. See

It was founded by a group of disillusioned volunteers who felt that first aid cover for small community events was becoming unaffordable from the traditional providers. Their leader is an accomplished healthcare trainer of many years experience.
The number of events covered has rapidly grown, despite the Covid19 pandemic. We now cover many events per year, with clients ranging from small horticultural societies to Farleigh Hospice and Maldon District Council, who now come to us first for their events.
