Yesterday Barbara Griffiths and Dave Hooker both were nominated for individual mayor of Lewisham community awards for their work and tireless service to the local community with Downham Aid in the Gleaning pantry A lot of people will know Babs with her welcoming Friday morning smile and Dave with his laughter and banter when checking people in who come to visit us, but both of them do an incredible amount of work behind the scenes to ensure everything is run seamlessly within Downham aid, both awards very well deserved.
