A guide to buying your first ukulele

 

Try before you buy

If at all possible, visit a music shop. Ukuleles come in different sizes and prices. A music shop will let you handle and play and, importantly, will advise you on what best suits you.

New ukuleles are not always set up correctly straight out of the box. A good music shop will make sure your new uke is set up and tuned ready to start playing.
