Hi DUGs,
Future Performances
We have had a few enquiries about DUGs performing.
Last year we had some events where, for various reasons, we only had a very small number of us available to play
For example, at the Doune Dementia meeting in December, we were the Doune Ukulele Trio!
Now, for the local dementia groups, numbers are not such an issue, but for other events, we really do need more players.
Before I commit to any of the upcoming enquiries, I would like an idea of how many of us will be available.
As I say, for the dementia groups, three or four of us is manageable. But for the others, I really need to be confident we can have enough of us present to do them justice.
If you think you can attend any of the following events, please let me know...
Town Break Dementia Services
Feb 26th / Mar 26th / April 30th
Town Break organise on the last Wednesday of the month (afternoons)
They have asked if we could play at one of these dates
Doune Musical Talent Night
Saturday, 26th April, 6pm
Ben Silcocks is organising a talent night at the Rural Hall to raise funds for the Doune and Deanston Youth Project.
He has asked if we could do a twenty-minute set.
Gargunnock WI
Tuesday, 20th May 8pm
Some members of the WI saw us perform at the 3F evening at Briarlands Farm, and were very impressed, so would like us to perform at their AGM.
We have already agreed to this one, but if we can't have at least 10-12 players, we may have to cancel.
Doune Dementia and Dunblane Dementia Groups
No dates set yet, but both groups have said they would like us to perform again.
