They have asked for a 45-minute set, starting at 8.00 pm.
If we can please be there for around 7.45, ready for the 8.00 start.
 
I will get there a little bit earlier to set up the music stands/microphone/speaker, etc. If anyone can get there to assist, I would be grateful.

We are going to look a bit more in depth at House of the Rising Sun. 
If you get a chance to practice the arpeggio, please have a try. Ideally, we could do with at least one third of the group doing the arpeggio, while the other strum the chords.
 
The YouTube tutorial I showed last week is a good place to start. 
The tutor uses a plectrum, but it can easily be done without, either picking or just using the fleshy side of your thumb. Play around and see what suits you:
