Davy Bright and John McPherson are also members of the Loch Lomond Group, so have got their tickets already. There may be one or two others who got their tickets through the Clackmannanshire Group, so there will be enough of us in attendance to put on a good show in the open-mic.
All we have to do now is decide what we will play. We can have a chat about that tomorrow evening.
Beginners' Session
Wednesday 19th August
We’re delighted to welcome several new members recently, including some complete beginners. I know starting something new can feel a little daunting, so I’m going to run short, friendly Beginners’ Sessions on Wednesday evenings for 30–40 minutes before our main meeting.
These sessions are not just for complete beginners — they’ll also be helpful for anyone who is still near the start of their ukulele journey. And even if you already have a little experience, revisiting the basics can be a great confidence boost.
We’ll start next Wednesday at 6.45 pm. Please do come along and join us — you’ll be very welcome.
