Hi DUGs,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope you have all had a great Christmas and New Year break. DUGs are back this Wednesday. Looking forward to seeing you all.
Review of the Year
We had a busy 2024, I have put together a review of the year.
Rather than post a very long email, I have created a page on our website

Social Evening
The Rural Hall has been booked for Friday, 17th January.
Details are still being finalised by the committee. We should have more information at Wednesday's meeting.

BraveUke Festival
On the weekend of the 2nd to the 4th of May 2025, the  Braveuke Ukulele Festival is to be held in the heart of Scotland with the aim of raising funds for local and national cancer charities.
Artists already booked to play at the festival include;
Warehouse of ThievesDead Mans UkeClaire HastingsUkelele Saz, Mark Stivvy StephensonThe Rhubarb Thieves, and Michael Gradwell.
This promises to be a very exciting, and a very popular event. Ticket sales and further details are on the BraveUke website.

Playlist
I've put together a selection of our most recent new songs (excluding Christmas songs!)
Over the next few weeks, I'd like members to choose the playlists.
If you haven't already done so, why don't you have a go? It's simple enough. I will send you a full list of the songs in our songbook, you just choose around 10/12 songs to play.
If you have already done so, there is no reason you can't have another go.

Of course, if you'd rather just have my choices every week, just ignore the above! 😉
