Hi DUGs,
Next week will be DUG's second anniversary!
I would like to do something to mark the occasion. Last year we raised a glass during our break. I think we should do the same this year (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be available.
I would like to get a good photograph of the group, so it would be nice if those with DUG T-shirts wore them next week.
I have an idea for a few ukulele-related songs for the playlist.
A couple of the songs will be new to us, so, I'd like to introduce them this week to get a bit of practice in.
The first is Got A Ukulele by Loudon Wainwright III.
I came across it a little while ago while searching for something else. It is a lot of fun to play and sing.

The other is a song is, I'm a Ukulele Player, based on the tune of 'I'm the Urban Spaceman' by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band.

Future Performances
I told you last week about our performance for Callendar Arthritis Care, on May 24th.
I have also been approached by the 3F Group in Doune about performing at their 'Picnic' at Briarlands Farm, also in May.
This is a Tuesday evening performance and, while labelled 'picnic' will actually be indoors.
