Hi DUGs,

 

Don't forget, this week will be our Ukulele Workshop with Sarah.

 

For this session, Sarah will:

 

1. Listen to the three songs we have been practising

Shotgun

I'm a Believer

 

2. Do a recap on rhythm, and also delve into chord progressions (how to write them out)

 

3. Start on I’m a believer and get a foundation in place (chord progressions and rhythm)

 

Sarah says she will set some challenges and goals for the next workshop.

 

During the break this week we will wish Jackie happy 70^th birthday (there will be cake!)

 

 

Eight members came to the Rural Hall on Sunday to rehearse the two songs they will perform on Sunday.

They sounded great. I am so proud.

For various reasons, not all members were able to attend. But we had all seven ladies... and Tom.

Once they add four more (male) voices and ukes on Sunday, they will be amazing!

They can get up on that stage full of confidence.
