Spicy Stuffed Meatball Patties
Ingredients
1 1b minced beef
2 green chillies- minced fine
2 cloves garlic – minced fine
2 large slices white bread, grated to breadcrumbs
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp ground ginger
Salt to taste
1 tsp lemon juice
1 egg
oil for frying
Stuffing
2 hard-boiled eggs – chopped fine
1 small onion – minced fine
Cooking Steps
Step1
Combine the chopped hard-boiled egg with the chopped onion for the filling. Keep aside.
Step 2
Mix the minced beef with the breadcrumbs, garam masala, turmeric, minced chillies, garlic, ginger, salt, lemon juice and raw egg. Mix well with your hands.
Shape the meat into balls and flatten in the palm of your hand. Put a little of the egg and onion mixture into the middle and pull together the sides to cover. Flatten and shape to form a patty. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the balls on both sides.
Serve: Garnish with lightly fried onion rings and wedges of carrots.
