Reconnection is a registered charity that works with refugees and migrants predominantly of East African origin who escaped from a chain of conflicts, compounded with poverty. Sadly, they continue to experience poverty and insecurity in their “safe destination”. We exist to tackle the continued experience of poverty compounded with unfairness and discrimination that occurs gradually and out of sight resulting in poorer mental health and alienation.
