The Buckinghamshire County Chess Association (BCCA) governs:
- Affiliated Buckinghamshire Chess Clubs
- The Buckinghamshire Chess League
- The Fred Day Cup
It also collates results from the competitions for submission to the English Chess Federation for rating and manages any local issues.
The BCCA is affiliated to the English Chess Federation and Southern Counties Chess Union.
