Do you provide any coaching or training facilities?
No, the club's sole purpose is to provide and maintain excellent tennis court and croquet facilities for local members. That said, we do our best to help anyone at Croquet, no previous skills are required!
Is the court available to the general public?
No, the court is locked at all times, and is only accessible by unlocking the padlock on the gate. A new padlock code is issued every year when membership is renewed or started. The code may be changed during the year and members will be advised.
Is the membership fee reduced on a pro rata basis if I join later in the membership year?
As a general rule, no. This simplifies administration (committe members provide their services on a voluntary basis) and ensures that the club's funds are topped up at the beginning of each year, allowing for any maintenance work to be scheduled and funded.
What is my membership fee used for?
All fees are used to maintain the court and croquet facilities for the benefit of the club's members. Members are encouraged to attend the club's annual AGM when the yearly financial accounts are presented by the Treasurer.
How can I pay the fees?
Currently, the most efficient way for the club to process membership fees is via a bank transfer process but cheque payments will also be accepted. The payment instructions are
