Knole House

Day visit to Knole House, Sevonoaks, Kent

Knole is a country house and former archbishop's palace owned by the National Trust and sits within Kent’s last medieval deer park.  It was originally owned by the Sackville family who continue to live at the property.  Art including by Reynolds, Gainsborough and Van Dyck is displayed in the show rooms along with seventeenth century tapestries and furniture. 

The Brewhouse Café offers a good range of hot and cold food and drinks.
