Burghley House, a grand sixteenth century house near Stamford, Lincolnshire is a leading example of the Elizabethan period. The house was built and is still lived in by the Cecil Family and is Grade l 1isted. The state rooms are splendid with wonderful art work and furnishings, plus there are extensive gardens. There is an exquisite Orangery and Garden Café.
PLEASE NOTE Burghley House operates a cashless system on site, including the cafe and shops. Cash is not accepted.
