Richard has been researching the story of th Highland Division's friendly invasion of Bedford during the first nine months of World War One. He is a proficiebnt bagpiper and Pipe Sergeant of the Bedford Pipe Band. He has playe dfor H.M. the Queen and Rod Stewart ( though not at the same time)
