What is really 🤔 interesting for residents on Badbury Park, is that under the boundary changes, Badbury Park will get its our own Parish Cllr on May 7; who will be  representing Badbury Park residents on the South Swindon Parish Council.

We understand from Cllr Davies (Linden, Eldene and Park South, that Cllr Dr Rebecca Banwell-Moore will be standing for that Badbury Park councillor post in the upcoming parish elections on Thursday 7 May 2026.

That is good news, Mike. The Working Group had only just been discussing the new councillor post for Badbury Park, and the need for someone of Rebecca’s calibre to support us on SSPC. Her involvement would help ensure residents’ concerns are properly raised, particularly around the issue of being effectively double-taxed through both their parish precept and the estate management fee for the maintenance of the Public Open Space and two play areas, with no support currently coming from the parish precept.

We are non-political but feel we need to inform residents on the forthcoming elections on 7 May 2026.
