Let’s Get Growing – Barnby Road Green Space

Nothing brings people together like working alongside one another for something we all care about. Add in the prospect of home grown food in a cost of living crisis and time spent outdoors in nature and you are onto a winning combination for community and wellbeing.

So what’s the deal?

Newark Town Council have approved plans for community gardening in the green spaces off Old School Lane and Barnby Road.  We think this is great news and presents our local community with an amazing opportunity.

So what does this look like?

This is where we think our project can be different because we want the voice of local people involved from the outset.  We have ideas, but this is not about a small group of people deciding what needs to happen and just going ahead.  We want to know, what you think, and we would love for you to be involved.
