Keynsham Walkers are Welcome are a voluntary organisation, which have recently attained national status. We aim to make Keynsham a walker friendly town, where visitors and residents alike can enjoy organised walks around beautiful countryside surrounding the town, and partake of the benefits from the facilities the businesses have to offer.

SUNDAY 11th JUNE - A WALK TO THE SALTFORD FESTIVAL

Starting at 10.00 at the Memorial Park cafe, we walk along the banks of the River Avon, then the cycle path to Saltford, to join in their superb festival. We shall stay here for a couple of hours, as there is so much going on:-

1, Exhibition at Saltford Brass MIlls

2. Floral displays in St marys Church

3. Classsic car show

4. Painting exhibition in the Church Hall - teas avilable here

5. High Street open market

6. Live music at the Bird in hand

Returning to Keynsham by 4.00

EVERYBODY WELCOME INCLUDING CHILDREN. DOGS ARE ALLOWED BUT MUST BE UNDER STRICT CONTROL AS WE WILL BE PASSING THROUGH FIELDS WHERE YOUNG LIVE STOCK WILL BE PRESENT - ALSO SALTFORD WILL BE VERY CROWDED

SATURDAY 17th JUNE - AN EXTRA WALK AS PART OF THE FESTIVAL OF NATURE - TICKETS £3 FROM THE KEYNSHAM TOWN COUNCIL OFIICES IN TEMPLE STREET

We shall be joining the public for this addendum to our programme. Dawn is leading a 6 mile circular walk as part of the Festival of Nature, which will be a themed nature walk with a member of the Avon Wildlife Trust pointing out flora and fauna of interest alongthe way. The route will take us along the River Chew, though Chewton keynsham, skirting Burnett, and back through Comtpn Dando.We are expecting to back in keynsham about 1.00

AGAIN EVERYBODY WELCOME INCLUDING CHILDREN, AND THE SAME RULW APPLIES ABOUT DOGS - THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED BYTHE WALK LEADER
