Welcome to the Guildford Ying Wah Chinese School Website
Guildford Ying Wah Chinese School is a small non profit Chinese school which serves Guildford, Woking, Aldershot, Farnham, Farnborough, Leatherhead and the surrounding areas. The school aims to teach the Chinese language and culture to people of all ages and backgrounds. Ying Wah Chinese School teaches Cantonese and Mandarin from beginner to A level for children as well as adults. We cater for students who wants to learn chinese for please or towards an exam, as well as those who just want to learn Chinese before going on holiday or for business. We have also now started running playgroups for children as young as three. In addition we welcome students learning Mandarin and Cantonese as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award (DOE).
Teaching is mostly done in small friendly groups of 4-5, tailored to the needs of the students.
The classes meet every Sunday from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Surrey University in Guildford. Currently, Ying Wah Chinese School has about 25 pupils. Diffferent classes at different age groups and being run at different times.
