Alt folk band Ranagri are a combination of Irish and English musicians; Dónal Rogers (Vocals/ Guitar), Eliza Marshall (Flutes/ Whistles), Ellie Turner (Electric Harp) and Joe Danks (Bodhrán/ Guitar). Since forming in 2013, they have recorded several studio albums, including The Great Irish Songbook with pop legend Tony Christie (2015). They have appeared at folk festivals, including Cambridge, Bloom (Dublin) and Purbeck, as well as venues such as Birmingham Symphony Hall, Fairfield Halls, and Buxton Opera House. Ranagri have toured Scotland, France and Germany - and now they are coming to Water Yeat Village Hall.

'A sound that's completely new, which has great energy and immediately makes you want to dance'  - Katie Derham (BBC Radio 3)

Ranagri are an outstanding band and we are very lucky to have been able to book them. This will be a very special evening, which is not to be missed.
