Wildings Virtual WI

For its online meeting in June, Wildings will be looking at a mandate from 1952 ('Display and sale of unsuitable publications to children'). Members will be finding out why the WI was keen to prevent certain types of comics from falling into the hands of children in the 1950s and enjoying reminiscing about the comics of their childhood.
