Wild About Huntingdon, with support from Huntingdonshire District Council and Huntingdon Town Council, are creating a new community orchard adjacent to Oak Drive in Huntingdon!
In addition to producing a variety of healthy, organic fruit for local people to enjoy, this new community orchard will have a significant ecological value - the spring blossom providing food for bees, butterflies and other pollinators, and the buds and fruit could attract birds such as blackcaps, fieldfares and redwings.
We have nine fruit trees to plants, a mix of apples, pears and plums.
Please come and help us create this special place which will also provide opportunities for learning and social activities.
