We have an exciting range of guests lined up for The Chase & Wild About Mini Event!
- Hamerton Zoo Park - will be asking you to guess who did the Zoo Poo! They'll have an animal quiz and will be explaining about conservation work. They will also have a tombola to raise vital funds for their work.
- Huntingdonshire Nostalgia Trust - will be bringing some local history videos, photos, posters, maps, books and other artifacts for you to explore. They will share all kinds of interesting trivia and memories. Plus you'll be able to travel back in time and have your photo taken in an old part of Huntingdon. How exciting!
- Friends of Hinchingbrooke Country Park - can tell you all about the Park and how you can help the Friends to look after this beautiful landscape. They will have some games to play and there will be a fun photo opportunity!
- Co-op - will be bringing some fun activities to teach us all about food and the environment. You can find out about the benefits of Co-op membership (bring your membership card if you have one).
- Cambridgeshire Mammal Group - Find out what's being done to help the various mammals in Cambridgeshire. Discover the activities and courses they run, including mammal surveying! Bring your mammal questions and talk all things otter, badger, water vole, shrew and more!
- CHaOS Hands on Science - Cambridge University students will be bringing a range of exciting hands-on demonstrations to get you thinking about science as you explore some of the coolest things in nature!
- WAH Plant Swap & more - Bring along any spare plants you may have (herbs, flowers, fruit, houseplants) and swap for something else. If you don't have a plant to swap you can still take a free one home (subject to availability).
There will be other freebies and activities. I'll let you know more once I've worked out what I'm doing...!!!
- The Chase - will be providing free soft drinks and snacks during the afternoon.
