A report was submitted regarding an issue in Burscough, on FP0818069. There have been 2 stiles; one is lying on the ground in pieces (it may not actually be needed) and the next one has a very high lower step, especially if you are using it coming towards Mill Dam Lane. There is a space to the side which a slim person could probably squeeze through but barbed wire has been put around the post, making this impossible. We hope it might be a candidate for replacement by a kissing gate.

PROW replied that they have contacted the landowner regarding the stiles and are hoping the issue will be resolved soon.

PROW informed us that the stiles had been replaced by kissing gates and sent photos above.
