Re FP0808007 Haskayne

A further problem in Haskayne is this footpath, which is inaccessible due to overgrowth on the verge leading to it from Owen's Lane.  It is not even possible to see if the footpath is marked by a stile or a gate, such is the density of the undergrowth.  There are ditches to either side and the overgrowth makes it impossible to see if these also run below it, which makes it too dangerous to try to access the path.

We were hoping to use this footpath on a forthcoming walk so if it is possible to deal with this issue in advance of this date, it would be very helpful.  This is an important path as, after connecting with FP0803002, it continues to join the old Cheshire Lines path and ultimately Wood Lane.

LCC responded:  This will be cleared when the gate is being put in on  FP0808017 to make it more cost effective.

We were informed that the clearing had been completed, although the cropping in the field still does not allow full use of the footpath.  It’s a great start to allowing access from this point to the Cheshire Lines path, though.
