Re FP0819082 Lathom
We have been informed by one of our members that the above footpath from Carr Lane to Wheat Lane in Lathom is very overgrown and barely passable, particularly as it approaches Wheat Lane.
We are planning to lead a walk with the Canal and River Trust on 19 October as part of their celebration of the 250th anniversary of this section of the canal. We hope to be able to use this footpath on our route so would appreciate it if the path could be cleared in advance of this date.

LCC responded that the issue near Wheat Lane had been inspected and that they will arrange for it to be cleared, requesting completion before the Canal and River Trust walk on 19th.

We have had official confirmation that the footpath has now been cleared. Great result!
