Appley Bridge/Dalton walk

This is our Appley Bridge/Dalton walk which was postponed due to inclement weather last March. A 5.5-mile walk, led by Chris.
There are some steep uphill sections, rough terrain and mud. We will need to cross a stream on stepping stones so expect to get your boots wet! Please bring walking poles if you have them. The walk is a demanding but rewarding one.

If the car park is full, there is roadside parking along Appley Lane South. Please note that Appley Bridge station is very close to the starting point if this is an option for you.
If you've not walked with us before, please feel free to join us for one or two walks before committing to paid membership. At £5 a year (£10 for families), we believe this is excellent value. We look forward to seeing you!
