Appley Bridge/Dalton walk

A 5.5 mile walk around the lovely Dalton area, led by Chris. Parking and starting at the Bridge Inn, 113 Appley Lane South, Appley Bridge, WN6 9AR. SD522091, ///scratches.either.valley
If the car park is full, there is roadside parking along Appley Lane South. Please note that Appley Bridge station is very close to the starting point if this is an option for you.
There is some rough terrain, uphill sections, mud and we will need to cross two streams on stepping stones so expect to get your boots wet! Please bring walking poles if you have them. The walk is a demanding but rewarding one.
If you have not walked with us before, you are welcome to join us for two walks before committing to paid membership. We believe that at £5 (£10 for families), annual membership represents great value for money!
