Allotment events and competitions can be fantastic ways of involving the local community in our Association. They can also raise much needed funds !
In recent years there has been a best Scarecrow competition ( some of these are still to be seen on the site ) and in May 2023 a very successful Plant and Bake event was held that raised several hundred pounds for the Association's coffers!
The success of these events and competitions is completely dependent on the willingness of plot holders to participate and the committee will regularly discuss and suggest various activities that we might make work.
