.After the disruption of the past couple of years it was a great feeling that our school clubs have been up and running normally in the Summer term. We try to staff all school clubs with two tutors each session to ensure pupils get lots of support and attention. We are also trying to ensure that if one of the tutors becomes ill with Covid, the other tutor can run the club session.
After many years running holiday courses at New Malden Library we have moved Typing's Cool Towers to St Joseph's Primary School in the heart of Kingston - a two minute walk from the shops. It's great to have such a central base and all the support and help of the school. There is a holiday play scheme on site every holiday so Typing's Cool course attendees can receive full day care if parents need it.
The Summer term saw the start of new weekly clubs at Surbiton High School, Ewell Castle Prep School, Sydenham High Junior School and Blackheath High Junior School so we are really looking forward to the new school year in September.
Due to requests from parents and others, we are relaunching our weekly Zoom live courses in September. The groups will run on Thursdays and Fridays initially but if other days are preferred please contact us.
