This week, the group worked together to tell some spooky stories.
They started by pulling some spooky settings and inciting incidents out of a bag. They used the starting points to craft a story taking them from each setting. After they tried out a few different inciting incidents, they got to add some random sound effects, twists and monsters to the story. Working together, they told a spooky story taking them from a simple camping trip to a secret abandoned lab in a castle, with some classic halloween monsters popping out.
After they’d had a go with some random story-telling parts, they decided there were some monsters missing, and other stories they wanted to tell. They got to work, making puppets, drawings, and comics of their own spooky stories and monsters. By the end of the session we had a library of spooky stories, just in time for Halloween!
