This week, our group learned about endangered animals.
First, everyone had fun matching animal eyes to the correct animals. Some were trickier than others, but together they managed to figure out which was which.
Then they discussed where endangered animals come from. Using a map of the world, they placed pictures of some of the most iconic endangered animals - and some wild cards - where they thought they came from. Working together, they figured out where all the animals, from gorillas to axolotls, came from.
Finally, the group put their creativity to use. Thinking about their own favourite endangered animals, they created some beautiful masks to represent them. From pandas to parrots, there was quite a range!
