I left teaching in 2015 to take up a post at Cambridge International Examinatins. This was a welcome change from teaching I have succesfully written a number of IT books and I am currently working on a book giving the back stories of the First World war boys that fought from the school that i last taught in.

I have been teaching at a university in Elche, southeast Spain, for the last 25 years. When not teaching, I am researching/writing (and talking) about medical/humanitarian aid during the Spanish Civil War and the First World War.
