Don is an award-winning florist, horticulturalist, and floral judge. Originally from Maghull he previously worked as the manager of the walled garden at Croxteth Hall for Liverpool City Council.
Don is known for his lush displays using foliage, tillandsias and tropical bromeliads, so we can expect to see some more unusual suggestions for our own Christmas displays at home and we will all get some inspiration from his work.
He is a frequent exhibitor at the Chelsea Flower Show - where he has achieved a gold medal for his arrangements as part of the NAFAS North West team and with his Bromeliad collections. His National Collections are on display in the Victorian Greenhouses at Walton Hall Gardens, Warrington.
