Jane Allison runs Mayfields Plants and Garden Design from her third of an acre garden in Stanthorne, Cheshire. She came to gardens and garden design after a long career in teaching, attended Reaseheath college in Nantwich, gaining qualifications in horticulture and garden design, thus kick starting a new career.  Her speciality centres around cottage garden plants, both grown from seed and propagated from specimens in her own herbaceous borders.

Her talk will give us a look at three of her garden designs from concept to completion, giving information of planting ideas, water features, siting of fruit and vegetables, making space for wildlife and choosing the right plant for the right location.
