A good day was had by everyone on the Shevington Garden Club visit to the new RHS gardens at Bridgewater.

33 members of Shevington Garden Club arrived at Bridgewater by coach. Because the garden Club is affiliated to the RHS we could gain free entry. Our coach party was met by one of the Bridgewater staff who explained where everything was. After the welcome our members went there own way and some joined a guided tour later on.

The gardens were amazing, but when you go beyond the walled garden there is so much open space which includes two lakes and a Japanese garden and woodland. So it is well worth a visit.
