On Monday 13th June 25 members of the Garden Club ebjoyed a visit to Jaquie Iddons amazing garden. There were things of interest at every turn and Jaquie has some wonderful plants. But this is what you would expect, as Jaquie is a very knowlegable plants woman. Besides a really good variety of plants there were some very interesting features, including sculptures, that have been installed over the years by Jaquies husband Tom and there son.
We were also allowed a look inside Toms log cabin, where he keeps some of his sculptures and they alone are worth a visit.
After the tour round the garden we retired to the house which itself does have some history. There we were catered for by Jaquie and her two daughters Daisy and Tilly. The scones were perfect, again worth calling in just for them.
Everyone agreed that we should book another visit in the future. If you need more information go to jaquelineiddon@gmail.com
